PELR – Exatron Reverse Logistics Program

Exatron is committed to designing and manufacturing products in an environmentally friendly way, with a view to preserving the environment.

The National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS – Law No. 12.305/2010), more specifically in article 3, item XVII, defines shared responsibility for the product life cycle as a principle that divides the responsibilities for mitigating the impact generated among all actors in the cycle, that is, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, importers, consumers, and cleaning agents.
The idea is that everyone involved in a product's lifecycle should be responsible for actions that reduce its impact.
First and foremost, we are all consumers, and therefore it is important to keep our individual actions aligned with environmental awareness. In light of this, Exatron has entered into an agreement with its resellers to participate in the Exatron Reverse Logistics Program (PELR) and receive products returned to the manufacturer. Furthermore, the packaging includes instructions that the post-consumer product must be returned to the reseller for proper disposal and destination through reverse logistics. The collected products are returned to Exatron, which then sends them to recycling partners.
In addition to the PELR (Program for the Recycling of Waste from Recycled Materials), the company is part of the Shared Environmental Responsibility Program (CONAMA Resolution No. 257/99) and the Battery Management Plan (CONAMA Resolution No. 401/08), taking responsibility for recycling the total quantity of batteries sold, as well as committing to the environmentally sound disposal of products subject to reverse logistics at the end of their useful life cycle.
